800M Firefox Users Can Expect Compromised Password Warning After Update


800 Million active desktop browser clients will benefit from the introduction of a new security feature that will check saved logins against a database of more than 8 billion accounts that have been compromised by data breaches. 

Firefox is due to start issuing the following warning when you attempt to log in to a site or service that is known to have been breached within the last 12 months: “Passwords were leaked or stolen from this website since you last updated your login details.”
